Kids July school holiday creative workshop (ages 7-9). Monday 14th July. MAKE YOUR OWN WEAVING LOOM AND WEAVING.

A$80.00

About the workshop:

Monday 14th July. 10:30am - 1:00pm

Ages 7-9

Make your own mini weaving loom and weaving project.

In this fun and engaging hands on creative workshop, kids (ages 7-9yrs) will join Natalia in creating their very own mini weaving loom out of the most unexpected (and delicious) every day object.

This 2.5hr session will be divided into two parts. The first half will be an introduction to weaving, playfully exploring warp and weft using paper. After a short snack/brain break, we will dive into the second half of the workshop where we will make our own mini weaving looms and start a little weaving project, taking ideas from the first half and applying them to our final project.

All materials and safe tools will be provided as well as plenty of guidance from Natalia. All art works and weavings can be taken home at the end of the workshop.

Spots are limited to 6 children maximum to ensure plenty of guidance and support from Natalia. As we will be working from a small space, children will be required to sit at a communal table and stay fairly contained throughout the duration of the workshop. Brain breaks and snacks will be provided and encouraged.

*Please let me know if your child cannot eat Smarties as they will be a small part of the fun during this workshop.
