July School Holiday Kids Workshops

SUPER EXCITING NEWS!

Im currently in the final stages of planning a few small creative workshops for kids over the July school holidays. Driven by my own desire to see more kids engaged in thoughtful and dynamic creative activities, i’ve been working towards developing a series of small, hands-on workshops, that nurture fine motor skills as well as creative expression.

The workshops will be delivered to small classes of up to 6 children in age appropriate groupings; ages 7-9 (2.5hr session), and 10-12 (3hr session).

All workshops will warm up with some creative exploration, playing with colour, pattern, materials and ideas. After a short snack/brain break, we will move to a more structured project where concepts from the first half can be channeled into a fun and rewarding finished piece.

Week 1) Build your own night/light lantern from recycled materials and coloured paper. (using LED candles, supplied).

Week 2) Make your own tiny weaving loom and start your own small weaving project.

• All projects can be taken home at the end of the session along with any extra materials needed to complete them at home.

• Snacks provided.

• Pricing: Ages 7-9 (2.5hr session): $80pp. Ages 10-12 (3hr session): $90pp.

• Held at my studio building in 24 Collins Rd Dromana, (industrial estate).
